It's Located in Kabardino-Balkaria city of Russia.
Mount Elbrus is located several miles north of the main crest of the Central Caucasus, in the Russian Republics of Kabardino-Balkaria north of Georgia. While there are differing authorities on how the Caucasus are distributed between Europe and Asia, many sources agree that Elbrus is also the highest mountain in all of Europe, or the highest in western Asia, narrowly exceeding another volcano, Mount Damavand in the Alborz range in Iran. The summit is capped in ice year round, and 22 glaciers sprawl from its slopes. All told, the mountain and its vast glaciers cover 56 square miles. The summit provides spectacular views of the entire Caucasus. Mount Elbrus stands at 18,510 feet (5,642 mt) the east summit is slightly lower at 18,442 feet (5,621 mt).
